Jerry “The King” Lawler makes a surprise return on Raw Aug 28
WWE Hall of Famer Jerry The King Lawler has over 50 decade-long careers. He has been wrestling from the 1970s to 2020. He celebrates his 50th anniversary in Jackson, Tennessee. WWE Superstars and Legends shows up for his 50th anniversary, such as Kane, The Boogy Man, Scoot Steiner, Sergeant Slaughter, and many more.
Back in February, Jerry Lawler suffered a stroke. Since then, he has been recovering. The Hall of Famer surprises fans on this week’s raw episode, which was held in Memphis, Tenn. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens called him out on the commercial break of Monday Night Raw.

The King shows up fans on this week of Monday Night Raw to cheer his name and welcome their hometown hero with a cherished welcome. The king waves his hand to the fans. WWE commentator Michael Cole and all the people in the arena gave Jerry Lawler a standing ovation. Hall of Famer comes with a new beard look and looks healthier.

Jerry Lawler Wrestling Since the 1970s, he has battled with many wrestling legends, from Hulk Hogan, Andrey the Giant, Terry Funk, Dusty Rhodes, and Ric Flair to Dolph Ziggler. Jerry Lawler Debut in WWE back in 1992 as an announcer, he made his in-ring debut in Royal Rumble 1992. From 1994 to 1995, he feuded with Bret The Hitman Heart and the Heart Family.
Jerry, the King Lawler wrestled many iconic matches. He wrestled with Tazz, Booker T, and Sheamus. After joining WWE in 1992, he started working as an announcer with Jim Ross. Together, they formed a unique and entertaining announcing team in the Attitude Era. For a couple of years, Lawler was the voice of the Attitude Era. He remained on the announcing team for 20+ years.

Since joining WWE in 1992, Jerry The King Lawler has had so many feuds with Bret Heart. After that, he has worked with Jake The Snake Roberts, Tazz, and many others, but it took around 19 years for The King to wrestle at the grandest stage of them all, WrestleMania.
He worked as a commentator with Jim Ross for a few years at WrestleMania but never got a chance to wrestle. It all came true at WrestleMania 27, where he wrestled his first WrestleMania match with his rival commentator Michaele Cole in a handicap match with a special guest referee other than Texas Rattle Snake Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Jerry the King Lawler He debuted in 1970 as a wrestler in Memphis, Tennessee, where he won his first championship in 1971. After that, he wrestled for many wrestling promotions, like the Continental Wrestling Association (1977–1989), the American Wrestling Association (1982–1985, 1987–1988), World Class Championship Wrestling (1988–1989), Northeast Wrestling (2002–present), and Northeast Wrestling (2002–present). Jerry Lawler has wrestled with so many icons, and he wrestled many wrestlers before they became famous in their careers, such as Kamala, Undertaker (Master of Pain), and Hulk Hogan.
Jerry Lawler continues to wrestle in an independent circuit after a heart attack in WWE. He made a comeback, and one year later in 2013, he teamed with Dory Funk Jr., and they won the match. The King remains an active wrestler in USA Championship wrestling in Memphis, Tennessee. Lawler wrestled with his long-time WWE Hall of Famer Terry Funk several times from 2015 to 2017.
At the age of 70, The King put his career on the line in January 2020 against Matt Riviera in a Title vs. Career Arkansas Heavyweight Championship in No Surrender Event, where he won the title. On September 26, 2020, he celebrated his 50th anniversary in USA Championship wrestling, where he teamed with Rock N Roll Express and defeated Matt Riviera and Doung Gilbert in Jackson, Tennessee.
On March 19, 2022, in Orlando, Florida, he wrestled Scott Steiner at USA Pro’s 29th Anniversary Show.

Jerry The King Lawler never won the WWE Championship in his career. Lawler’s first shot at the title was against The Miz, who retained the championship after interference by Cole and Alex Riley. King won several championships in his independent circuit wrestling career, spanning over 50 years.
