The Rock teases a match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40

The Rock makes a shocking return on the Day 1 episode of Monday Night Raw. The first Raw of 2024 was named Day 1. WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H stars the show by welcoming the WWE universe to Monday Night Raw. Further, he mentioned a rumor on social media about the former WWE Champion appearing on Day One and said to tune in for the show.

Later on, the episode of Day One Raw, after announcing the return of the former champion Jinder Mahal, shows up crowded and is so disappointed that they start booing Jinder Mahal as Mahal starts making trash talk about the United States of America.

The Rock’s music hits, which is so electrifying, as the Rock makes his huge comeback on Day One. As the People Champion enters the ring, the crowd starts chanting “Rocky Rocky” as loudly as possible, which is so mesmerizing. The Rock grabs the microphone and addresses the WWE Universe.

The Rock makes fun of Jinder Mahal and calls him a Day One Douche Bag. Rock also sings a song and makes so much fun of Jinder Mahal, which is funny and so enjoyable. After that, Jinder attacks him. The Rock counters his attack and throws some of his iconic punches at him. After that, he delivers The Most Electrifying Move in Sports Entertainment People’s Elbow Before going backstage, Rock grabs the microphone and asks the fans one more thing. I want to ask because I feel hungry. The Rock is going to eat something tonight in San Diego. Should I sit in a booth? Or should I sit at the bar? Or do I sit at the head of the table? This means The Rock hints at a possible WrestleMania against the Head of the Table Roman Reigns.

The Rock Said : “I’m going to go get something to eat. When ‘The Rock’ goes out to get something to eat tonight in San Diego, should ‘The Rock’ sit in a booth? Or, should ‘The Rock’ sit at the bar? The Rock Loves the Bar-Or, should ‘The Rock’ sit at the head of the table?”

The Rock vs Roman Reign  match happen at Wrestlemania40?

The Rock confirmed the possible match at WrestleMania 40 a few months ago at the Pat McAfee Show. During the show, Rocks admits that at the beginning of 2022, Nick Khan and Vince McMahon met in LA and started talking about a potential match between him (The Rock) and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. They got close to the match, but they never nailed it. Philadelphia, which is the home of WrestleMania 40, has the potential, and I (The Rock) said I was open about it.

The Rock said at Pat McAfee Show :

“We got really, really close, but we couldn’t actually nail what that thing was. So we decided to put our pencils down. And then we agreed, Hey, listen, there is a merger coming up. Eventually, that will happen. There’s wrestle Mania in Philadelphia.”

“I’m saying that’s a potential to something. I’m open. I’m open. I’m open. I’m open. But again, let’s figure out what that is because the fans deserve something just incredible and unprecedented. And not only that, but I also want to deliver to the locker room and the boys and the girls back there are working their asses off.

What can we do to put them in a position where they’re part of something that is a new change, an era in this world of pro wrestling. Again, Vince is a big-picture thinker, as you know. Yes, sir. And this is why we’ve gotten along for years just trying to think big picture.”
